Damage caused by the tenant during the rental period will be repaired as soon as possible, subject to customary delivery times and charged to the tenant. On the part of the property owner, no insurance has been taken out, which grants the tenant and his personal belongings insurance coverage during the rental period.

Complaints

If the tenant, contrary to expectations has complaints, these should be addressed to the property owner in writing within 48 hours after arrival. Otherwise, the tenant assumes liability for any errors and deficiencies.

The eventual conclusion of a travel cancellation insurance is the sole responsibility of the renter.

Force majeure

The rental agreement can be terminated by the tenant as a result of cases of force majeure or other circumstances that are outside the sphere of influence of the property owner. This includes the closing of borders due to an epidemic or pandemic (such as has been the case during COVID-19). Under these circumstances the house owner will notify the tenant. The tenant will then have two options:

1) To move rental period to a later period. 2) To get down payment as a gift certificate that can be used for future bookings. If the remaining balance is already paid this amount will be refunded.
